Golden Rosary beads hold the Cross - The portal in the middle (the circle of stones) is the passage through the Sacrifice of Self - a passage helped by the Magdalenes (represented by the yellow Sapphires) at the entry to the circle.
The Rosary beads are the spheres of Light, moving the ascending current forward and upward.
